Waxers 11th Annual Equipment Swap
The Markham Waxers 11th Annual Equipment Swap is Tuesday, September 14!

Date:                    Tuesday, September 14
Time:                    6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Location:               Mt. Joy Community Centre, Indoor Soccer Field

We sell the equipment at $5 or less per item (except goalie equipment), which provides our community with access to quality hockey equipment at bargain prices keeping the cost of playing hockey at as reasonable a level as possible. Proceeds made from the sale of the equipment go to our Yes, You Can Play! fund, which helps pay for registration fees for those in our community who otherwise would not be able to afford to play hockey. It’s a win-win situation!

Donate your gently used equipment

We are still looking for gently-used hockey equipment. This is a great opportunity to clean out your basement, garage, trunk, etc. You can drop it off at our equipment manager Al Nixon’s residence (22 Sir Caradoc Place Markham L3P 2X6) or drop it off the day of the swap 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

We need volunteers!

This is a great way to get a start on volunteer hours for our younger volunteers and a great way to get to know others in our Waxers family if you’re an older volunteer. Please email us if you can volunteer between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm for this deserving cause.
