OMHA Vaccination Policy Update
The OMHA Vaccination Policy requires that all participants be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19, as a condition of participating in any Sanctioned Activities during the 2021-22 hockey season. At present, this policy does not apply to hockey players born after 2009 or hockey spectators.

After careful consideration, the Board of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association has determined its Vaccination Policy will remain in effect as stated for the balance of the 2021- 2022 season. Implementing this requirement for participants aged 5-11 mid-season will create significant challenges for our Minor Hockey Associations and Leagues including disruption to programming.

The Board of Directors strongly encourage all eligible participants to receive the COVID-19 vaccine which will help protect Ontario’s progress in the fight against COVID-19 and ensure continued programming with minimal disruption.
