Waxers A (Markham Waxers)

The Markham Waxers U18 AAA team defeated the Waterloo Wolves 6-5 to capture the Central Ontario Regional Championship on Sunday, April 14. Next stop is Sydney, Nova Scotia to compete for Canada’s Men’s U18 National Club Championship at the TELUS Cup, April 22-28 at the Membertou Sport & Wellness Centre. More information to follow.

Our Waxers U18 AAA boys are playing for gold in the Ontario Central Region AAA Championships in Sault Ste. Marie. The gold medal game will be played Sunday, April 14, at 1:30 pm. You can watch it on Sault Sports TV. Tune in and cheer on your Waxers. Go Waxers Go!

BREAKING NEWS! Beginning in the 2024-25 season, Markham Waxers U7, U8 and U9 Select Teams will compete in the York Simcoe Minor Hockey League (YSMHL) Competitive Pathway Program (CPP)! What is the Competitive Pathway Program (CPP)? It is a YSMHL rebrand of Select hockey for U7, U8 and U9 age groups which will allow these teams to now participate in a formal league, similar to a rep program. CPP/Select is an extension of House League, and open to all House League registered players on an evaluation basis.
