U16 BB1 Partners with Hockey with Heart
As part of their annual community initiative, the Markham Waxers U16 BB1 team has partnered with Hockey with Heart for their annual food drive over the last two weekends to collect food and toy donations. Hockey With Heart, the compassionate arm of the Unionville Men’s Hockey Club, has recently received an award for the help it has provided to individuals and families in need living within our community.   

HWH-Logo-2023-01.pngWith the increasing numbers of Canadian families facing food insecurity and relying on food banks, our boys decided to take charge and help out. All food collected will be donated to the Markham Food Bank and toys collected will be donated to the Markham Fire Department for the CTV Toy Mountain Drive.
