U18A Mary Parkinson Tournament Champs!
On Sunday October 2, the U18 A team won the Mary Parkinson Memorial tournament in Richmond Hill. The team is a collection of players who played on five different teams at three different levels and in two different age groups last season. As such, they are still getting to know each other and their team systems. 

They did have some rocky games during the round robin, but came together nicely in the semi-finals and finals, winning both rounds 4-3 in overtime.

The highlights of the weekend were coming back from a three-goal deficit in the semi-finals and beating a team in the finals to whom they had lost in the round robin.

It was a good start to the season!
